Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chaired the regular meeting held by the cabinet this afternoon at its headquarters in the Amiri Diwan.
During the meeting Cabinet approved a draft decision of the President of Qatar for Tourism to consider holiday homes as hotel establishments.
Under the project, holiday homes are considered hotel establishments, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. /20/ of 2018 regarding the regulation of tourism and its provisions. Holiday homes mean furnished housing units prepared for residence, and provided with utilities, whether they are rooms, apartments, houses, villas or camps. It is rented as a complete or divided unit on a daily or weekly basis, or for any temporary period not exceeding thirty consecutive days.
