Department of Meteorology forecast “better weather conditions with a relative drop in temperature as northwesterly wind expected to affect the country.”
The country will witness northwesterly fresh to strong wind, especially offshore, between Thursday (October 31, 2019) to next mid-week.
Wind speed expected to range between 8 to 18 KT exceeding 25 Kt offshore causing sea wave height to rise between 4 to 7 Ft reaching 9 Ft at times in some areas.
In addition, a relative drop in temperature is expected, compared with previous day's, with maximums ranging between 30 to 35°C and minimums 20 to 26°C across the country.
The department urged all to be cautious and avoid going to sea and to follow latest updates through its official social media accounts.
