Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC), the largest mixed-use business incubator in the Middle East, yesterday announced Aysha Al Mudahka has been appointed as its new CEO.
Aysha is a major figure in Qatar’s rapidly expanding entrepreneurial ecosystem. Since March 2011, she has served as Executive Director of Injaz Qatar, where she began as a volunteer in 2007. She is an active member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community – a global network of exceptionally talented young people making a positive impact in their communities. Prior to Injaz Qatar, she worked at the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA). She is one of the board members of Injaz Qatar.

Aysha maintains a strong personal interest in supporting entrepreneurs and the local community. She was a moderator with the Soliya Connect Program and a founding member of the Roudha Centre – a female entrepreneurship and innovation centre in Qatar. Aysha, a Qatari national, completed post-graduate programs at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University Qatar and is a graduate of Qatar University. She is currently doing her Executive MBA in HEC Paris.
Aysha will represent QBIC and Qatar during Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) at the United Nations in New York on November 19, 2014.
