Doha: Ashghal has announced it has completed works on a new road connecting Qatar University Metro Station and the school’s entrances to Al Tarfa Intersection (known as Golf Intersection).
This will strengthen the interconnection between the road and rail networks and enhance traffic flow around the campus, Asghal tweeted yesterday.
Completed works included the provision of street lighting systems, road marking & signs, and stormwater and irrigation lines. A 2.5-km shared pedestrian and cycle path with 151 trees and 7,000 sqm of green areas were provided to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
