Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Algiers on Tuesday evening after an official visit to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The Amir and the accompanied delegation were seen off upon departure at the Houari Boumediene Airport by HE President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
They were seen off by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior civilians and military officials in Algeria, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Algeria Hassan bin Ibrahim Al Malki, HE Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar Dr. Mustafa Boutoura and the members of the Qatari embassy.
Upon departure, an official farewell ceremony was held for the Amir.
The Amir sent a cable to HE President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality and honor that HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation met during the visit, which provided HH the Amir the opportunity to meet HE the President, as well as exchange views on issues of common concern and means of strengthening and promoting the bilateral relations in various fields for the good and interests of the two peoples.
The Amir also wished HE the President the best of health and happiness and the brotherly people of Algeria further progress and prosperity.
