Footballer Al Moez Ali said that the club recognises the importance of the campaign as it aims to increase the green areas in the streets of Qatar which will have a significant impact environmentally. “Everyone in the club is ready to participate in this campaign and plant trees on Al Tarfa Street,” he said.
Salem al-Marri, head of the age group sector in the club said it’s a pleasure for the club to participate in this campaign, which aims to educate the youth about the importance of protecting the environment. “Our participation is part of our social responsibility and we will strive to cooperate and contribute in planting trees and beautifying the streets of Qatar,” he said.
Adnan al-Ali, club's executive director, said that the club would like to thank the Committee to be a part of the Qatar Beautification and Our Kids Planting Trees initiative. “Al Duhail Sports Club is keen to participate in campaigns that contribute to spreading environmental awareness and beautifying the streets of Qatar,” he added.
Engineer Jassim al-Fakhro, project manager in the Committee, lauded Al Duhail Sports Club's participation in preserving the environment in Qatar.
