Doha, Qatar: The AFC Asian Cup 2023 trophy experience is set to kick off in Qatar this weekend, offering fans a unique opportunity to get up close with the official trophy at select venues.
Supporters will have the chance to capture memorable photographs alongside the prestigious trophy and interact with the tournament’s mascots, including Saboog, Tmbki, Freha, Zkriti, and Traeneh.
The trophy will be on display at Place Vendome Mall on Friday, December 8, from 4 pm to 8 pm and then at the Mall of Qatar on Saturday, December 9, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Additional public stops will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks in the lead-up to the tournament, with announcements made on the AFC Asian Cup 2023 social media channels.
Qatar is gearing up to host the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 for an unprecedented third time, having successfully organized the event in 1988 and 2011.
Twenty-four of the continent’s top teams will vie for the coveted football title in this prestigious competition. A total of 51 matches will unfold across nine stadiums from January 12 to February 10, 2024.
