Doha: Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (AAB), the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Qatar, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health’s (MoPH) Contact Tracing Team, proceeded with its initiative for workplace safety.
This came under AAB’s on-going company-wide COVID-19 Screening (PCR) test for AAB employees spread across its Head Quarters at Al Abdulghani Tower, Toyota and Lexus showrooms, service centers and accommodations.
The employees were tested at 9 different locations within the company. This is the second time within the year that AAB embarked on this safety initiative. Contact tracing is a critical activity to reduce transmission and control the pandemic within the country.
The activity helps protect the community by alerting them if they have been exposed to the virus and to take measures to monitor their health.
Concurrently with the test, flu vaccination was also conducted at the employees’ accommodations. With the safety and good health of its customers, employees and community as a priority since the onset of the pandemic,
AAB has been proactive in implementing health and safety protocols in all its various locations. It has been adhering closely to the implementation of the latest regulations and guidelines on COVID19 throughout its operations and services.
Such measures include social distancing, wearing masks, green Ehteraz entry with thermal scanning and regular sanitising and disinfection at its premises and vehicles across all locations to ensure peace of mind among its customers and employees.
AAB has also encouraged and motivated its employees to get vaccinated from COVID-19. It has duly coordinated with the Qatar Vaccination Centre for the vaccination schedules of its employees staying at the accommodations. To date, 91% of its total number of employees are already fully vaccinated.
This safety initiative highlights AAB’s commitment in ensuring a safe environment for its customers and employees and the true dedication of MoPH and the front liners in serving the community by monitoring and taking effective measures for the prevention of the pandemic.
